Watu, officially known as "People’s Participation in Education" is a trust fund and a non-governmental organization. We solicit funds from both within and outside Tanzania. We encourage individuals and organizations to participate in the development of educational facilities. We try and help especially those who are underprivileged. We are located in Moshi, in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.
Your donations help us:
- mobilize resources to improve the quality of education in northern Tanzania,

- in disadvantaged areas;
- in rural and urban areas;
- in pre-primary, primary and secondary education;
- ensure that as many young people as possible have access to such improved educational facilities;
- act as the representative of any institution or individual committed to the development of educational support;
- create a fully equipped resource and conference centre for teachers, students and educational administrators;
- assist governmental departments and local authorities to achieve their objectives in education.
